For Your Health; Beware of Sheed in Green

What’s on my mind at this point in the summer? No indeed it’s not the tofu king winning home run derby's, or in fact the upcoming NFL preseason which I like to refer to as "which NFL super star will end his season early this year," nor the Masters that always seems to remind me of why I don't enjoy watching paint dry... It’s the NBA!

And, with so many fast changes happening in the NBA right now, I think it’s time we stopped and focused on one at a time. Particularly one that may not be getting enough negative attention. That is Rasheed Wallace to the Celtics!!! People.... think about this....Rasheed Wallace, mean and in green! I do not speak of this with high aspirations. In fact this is horrible!

The NBA almost had the one of their biggest premier matchups in finals history last season with the Lakers and Cavs. I don't care who you are a fan of, if Kobe and Lebron are playing each other you’re at least tuning into the highlights. The thought of Kobe facing Lebron in the finals made me squeal with joy... I can only imagine what David Stern was doing. (Nike, your puppet ads were still a true testament to your genius .)

Nonetheless, Rashard Lewis, RaferAlston? some of Dwight Howard, and the other goons in Orlando smashed our hopes and dreams with miraculous three's and something they called Turkey glue?

So onto next year. What do we have to look forward to? The potential dream finals we all are crossing our fingers for with 23 vs. 24? Maybe the potential rematch between the Cavs and the Magic where Lebron can once again get over the hump like he did against the Pistons in stunning fashion? NO NO NO! Think again!!! We have the ugly, already been there done that, annoying, loud mouthed, aging, Celtics!

If you think for a second these guys won't be there at the end of the season you got some re-thinking to do. With Kevin Garnett the only somewhat respectable human being in Boston these days coming back from injury, and mostly the same clowns who played 700 games versus the Bulls in the playoffs last year, plus Rasheed Wallace, get ready for your hopes and dreams to be crushed again.

I promise you I am not a pessimist. In fact anyone who knows me will tell you I am the most devout fan you may ever meet. But this time I'm going to be prepared. Hey, It’s for health reasons.

Rasheed on the Celtics is a huge problem for the East, the league and my life; maybe yours?....(keep reading). This is the same guy who has led the NBA multiple years in technical fouls, the same guy who can be found throwing his shirt off in disgust after losses, the same guy who refuses to shave his head even though he has the most distinguishably infuriating bald spot on a man I have ever seen, (don’t ask me about the Woman’s)... the same guy who has already taken up years of our valuable NBA watching lives winning with the Pistons. The same man who you watch and wonder to yourself “why does that shot seem to consistently go in for him?” Of course, he was not the main ingredient to the Pistons, I believe without Chauncey Billups they would have won nothing. But he was there, and he was just as irritating as he is today.

The main point here being, Sheed on the Celts is horrible for the league and everyone! We saw Garnett win his championship that he wanted ever so badly, while also getting it for Ray Allen, and he who shall not be named in any of my writings….(PP).

Not to mention, why are the Pistons acting so ridiculous? First you ruin years of my life, then you give Billups to the Nuggets, sign Ben Gordon, and Charlie Villanueva, draft a perfectly good Chase Buddinger, and now this?

We have seen Sheed win, we have seen all of Boston win, we have heard enough of the one who speaks toad/frog (Doc Rivers,) and we have seen their slow boring game they bring to the new youthful NBA. And guess what fans, were about to see it again. So Sorry.
